When I was looking to get a puppy after the tragic incident with my first dog, I ended up answering an ad on backpage for 3 Dachshund mix puppies.
I’ve never doubted the Dachshund in Lola Bean, it’s so obvious to me down to the fact that she will fetch a ball for as long as you’ll throw it (Dachshund). The other part I’ve never really been sure of. First we thought Chihuahua, then we thought Min-Pin, others have said Jack Russell terrier. I’ve googled and googled, and eventually settled with the idea that she prolly had Minature Pincsher in her.
Yesterday I randomly started looking again and decided to take my search to Flickr. I was looking at Jack Russell Terrier mixes when I came across Pepper:

I think that pretty much answers my question, I’ve never seen a dog look so much like little Lola Bean before. It really doesn’t make a whole lot of difference what breeds she is, because obviously, I love her regardless, but I’ve always been really curious about it. And at least now I have a better idea!

We have the Wisdom Panel at work now. It costs somewhere around 120, but you get a report on what breeds make up Lola. Cause even if she looks like another dog, doesn’t absolutely mean they are made up of the same breeds. http://www.wisdompanel.com

^ I might have to look into that… I know just because they look alike doesn’t mean that’s DEFINITELY what she is, but for now it’s close enough for me
She prolly has even more breeds mixed in, haha, lil mutt!

Congrats on finally solving your mystery. Looking at Lola Bean reminds me of the dog I had for a short period of time. I have days where I really miss him, but I think it was best for me to give him to a nice loving family. Hopefully one of these days whenever I get a bigger apartment or maybe a house I will get another one, but only this time I might get one that is already an adult and not a puppy that chews up EVERYTHING. lol.
