I deleted my myspace account, I don’t know how long ago, for the sole reason that I didn’t like the idea of anyone with access to the internet being able to track me down. I also didn’t like that they could see when I read their stupid ass message.
It was one thing to be able to arrange your top friends (rank them by importance). An interesting thing about that option is that people really take it to heart. Someone actually started a fight with me for switching their order on my top friends list… She was a bitch and deserved it anyway—but don’t you think that’s ridiculous? Ranking your friends?
It goes beyond that though, Les mentioned a “new feature” to me tonight that plain pissed me off as I assume it did her considering she asked where to go to delete her account, but NOW you can categorize your friends. They’re NOT JUST ANY FRIEND! An online friend! A client! A Nashville friend!

Yeah I ended up deleting my account. Its fucking retarded. I do not like Myspace. The times I visited that site had gotten fewer and fewer over the past month until….there was just no reason to go at all anymore, so I left. Fuck myspace! Social whoring network.

I have an account, but it’s private. I don’t even pay attention to the Top Friends thing… in fact, I couldn’t tell you who is in there apart from my sister. I just picked people randomly.

I am a myspace addict. I get what you are saying though. Most of the time I look at two profiles… my brother’s and my best friend’s.
Then every once in a while I look 3 people’s who post the most ridiculous, personal drama shit back and forth in each others comments, and nobody deletes the crap. Stuff like having Hepatitis (she really does). I kind of know who they are a little bit because they are friend’s of a friend.

@katelyn yes! You can go to your sent box and it’ll say “read” or “sent” if they haven’t read it yet. Isn’t that CRAP!?
@marie - I used to be the same way until I ran out of people to spy on… after that happened it becamse pretty useless and I just started to get pissy about the people who were spying on me (loved that tracker!)
