Shawn and I have been sitting around listening to music and watching videos on youtube all morning like a bunch of lazy bums. But it’s Sunday and in my book there’s no better time to be lazy. We watched about two or three Tool videos just now, and since I don’t know much about Tool other than my brother and sister-in-law really like them (or did at some point at least, you never know with them two) he was telling me a few things about their songs and videos. He started to tell me about someone from the band named Adam but couldn’t think of his last name. He kept trying to remember it so to get him to go on with what he was saying I just blurted out “Jones!” He was like “yeah, that’s it! Adam Jones!” but I thought he was just humoring me by agreeing that we can make his last name be whatever we wanted it to be. A little bit later he was talking about this Adam guy again and without thinking twice he called him Adam Jones… so I asked, “Is this guy’s last name really Jones because I so just made that up?”
Turns out it really is and I am psychic. I’m still tickled about it, how weird.
I hope I’m not jinxing myself by thinking that my life lately has been so smooth and full of happy. I don’t know if I can even remember a time when things to stress about have been so few and far between
I’ve had a totally awesome weekend. Les came for a visit Friday night so we could work on a project that is in the works. She didn’t leave until 8am on Saturday so of course most of my Saturday was spent sleeping, but I made up for it by staying up all night last night so that I can hopefully get a decent amount of sleep tonight before a long day at work tomorrow. Hopefully I won’t pass out too early though…
Staying up last night rocked because we were in one of those moods where we never even bothered to turn on the TV or use the internet for much more than to play music. This type of thing is new to me because I can’t say I’ve really ever been able to do that with previous boyfriends. I’m sure it’s just because Shawn rocks and we’re like peas in a pod. He’s all moved in and settled, and *gasp* PAYING RENT, holy shit! We have tons of around-the-house-type projects planned, one being a garden that I cannot WAIT to start.
Have I mentioned the badass Pee-Wee doll I won on Ebay a little while ago?

Um…so Dr Graham heard me telling someone that you do graphic design and all…and he wants a quote on something he needs…do you do that kind of stuff??? I have the concept here, of what he wants if you wanna drive by and look at it. He just wants a design for a poster to advertise some new flea meds…..
