ohmigoodness
So I’m sitting here, lights out for Earth Hour (is being on my laptop cheating? lol charged battery=no power usage), and decided to upgrade my wordpress but so far I’m frightened.
I’ve upgraded many times, for most of the folks I host, and to my knowledge I’ve always done it right. The only thing making me think I’ve done it wrong this time is that the content of wordpress admin pages doesn’t stretch across my screen…?
Other than that I must say I’m frightened by the fact that things are misplaced. At least it looks pretty… right? It sure is weird, though.

I’m going through my flickr and deleting lots and lots of pictures. Mostly pictures of people I’m no longer fond of or whatever, but could really be anything because I’ve got so many photos that have no reason to be here.
Anyhow, this picture is from long long ago when Les and I used to spend our days riding in my ‘72 VW Beetle, sitting at Starbucks waiting for Cadence to get off work, or recording silly videos, so silly that when you find them years later your belly hurts from laughing so hard…
I assume this photo was taken either the day of, or not long after we had gone to this New Age expo here in town. I always have so much fun at those things, and that particular time we had our Aura photos taken. The “photographer’s” name was Akbar and while he was explaining the colors in my photo he started to whisper about sex and how you shouldn’t do it to get people to like you. Or something along those lines… but I just looked at him like, “What? :uhm: .” It was sooo funny.
Les said his breath was really bad, but I think I was in such shock I’d stopped breathing.

I am in a wretched mood today and I can’t put my finger on why. I physically feel fine, much better than I did earlier this week. Even the ginormous burger and fries I ordered from Chili’s did not make me feel better, not that food has ever been something that I find comfort in but damn, the world’s hugest hamburger is at least something to feel happy about… right?
Yesterday Toya and I were pulling up to Arby’s drive-thru when some old man with a handicap tag hanging from his rear view and a crazy look in his eye started waving at us. We rolled down the window and he said, “I’m not crazy I swear, I’ve been cussed out four times now but I’ve lost my wallet and I’m about to run out of gas. Please if you can give me any money I will trade you for a brand new pair of jumper cables.” I’m a sucker for handing out money so of course I gave him four bucks, and as he reached out to get it he said, “Really, just why, why are people so rude?” and I screamed, “BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE ASSHOLES.”

I was feeling a little too frisky yesterday.
It ended up being a really good day… so good that we never went to bed.

One day Les came by the house to hang out and what not. She told me that her friend busted out a harmonica and his dog sang along with him. I couldn’t find my harmonica while she was over to test it, but I ended up stumbling upon it when I was digging around in my closet last week. We tried it on the dogs and the most we got was Lola Bean and Duker looking at me real crazy and then he started barking like crazy.
The harmonica has been sitting on the coffee table ever since, and last night Shawn started using it to open up his beers. He randomly decided to play it and to our surprise, Duker had himself a lil ho down! I was pretty toasted so of course this was the funniest thing I’d ever heard/seen. I recorded it but you can hear my drunk ass laughing really hard through the whole thing and trying to get Pickle to sing along with him.
So instead of posting that I went ahead and played for him some more this morning and he sang and sang. I still get tickled about it, he’s such a goofy dog.
