Can I just say how much I miss having really long hair?

Boo, hurry up and grow dammit. It seems like once it gets past the length it is now (my shoulders) it starts to speed up. I just miss it. And the annoying thing is, once it finally gets long to the length I want, I end up wanting it to be short again. And while I’m waiting for it to grow back out I always say, “Shoot, I’m keeping it long this time… for good!” It’s a never ending cycle. It just sucks that the short to long process is so much slower than the long to short

I had a really great weekend. I pretty much relaxed a bit on Friday after some cleaning. I hung out with my Lestaboo & Kathy on Saturday. We went to the mall and were extremely annoyed by the massive amounts of people there. They are pushing the whole Christmas thing WAY TOO EARLY this year because fucking Santa Claus was taking photos in the food court. It really irritates me that Thanksgiving is pretty much being skipped over to make way for Christmas. Not that Thanksgiving was ever some huge over-hyped holiday, but can’t we at least save the Christmas music and decorations until after Turkey day?

Saturday night was spent at the bar and a cute new friend’s house. Mmmhmm But here’s the thing I think I’m most excited about… Amanda’s furniture is finally making an appearance in the house, which means all that bullshit crap that got left behind from the Young and the Restless as well as my shit that was pretty much shoved in the 3rd bedroom is gone (since there was no room)! I’m so glad to almost have everything in order. Next weekend we’re going to take on the den - I’m gonna have to do some massive cleaning but it will be worth it. I’m ready for my house to be finished and entirely moved in - after damn near 8 months! PHEW!
