Life, as I mentioned previously, is still pretty boring. I have not been up to much other than working and getting drunk, which is all fun and games until you run out of beer and money.

I ordered a new camcorder over the weekend because with my trusty dusty elgato eyetv hyrbid (yes, I’m still going on about it) I can make just about any video digital, and suddenly I got a hair up my ass and wanted a nice digital camcorder. I know, this whole thing is just getting out of hand. OUT OF HAND. I went into a mild panic because I realized no one would be home tomorrow when the package arrives, and last time no one was home when I was expecting a FedEx delivery my shit got jacked (it was very, very important shit, mind you). So instead of risking it, I called Fedex and the lovely folks are going to hold it for me so I can just come in and get it. Hooray! Problem solved.

So apparently I’ve been “nominated” to be on the ugly list at TGO’s forum, or so someone claims. Let me go ahead and say that I think that shit is HILARIOUS and I can’t wait to see what ugly picture of me has been selected to be on display on his site. I’m so excited about it, that even if I don’t end up there, I think I just might nominate myself.

My elgato eyetv hybrid came yesterday, and this thing RULES. It solved all my tv issues here in the computer room, and not only that, I can now record shit off if I so choose, which means no more missing all the good shows because nobody wants to watch them.

Yay!

Ugh. I’m really, extremely, entirely too bored. Should a person be this bored at work? No, I don’t think so, although I’m still unsure if I should be complaining cause it could be a lot worse. Unfortunately complaining is just what I’m good at.

There is a new layout up at boogher. I like it! Not exactly one made by me but I am still trying to figure it all out first, and honestly I hardly ever sit down and try to work on it. Perhaps I should do this, because I’m sure it would break a lot of my creative barriors that I’ve been bothered by lately. I would really like to make my Wordpress themes to offer for download as well. That would be supa fly. Also, Les has a new layout and some updated info. Go pay her a visit.

Not much else is going on with me. My weekend went pretty smoothly, my out of town friends came and chilled, and one will be staying in the area until Thursday. There wasn’t as much drama as anticipated, thankfully, however I did run my mouth a bit and start a small argument. I geniunely thought it was funny though, but at one point it just stopped making sense so I was over it. No more of that, thanks.

When I first started doing paid blogging over at boogher.com, I originally intended for it to actually go toward my monthly bills and what not, but I will admit… The money that I’ve earned through payperpost and payu2blog has definitely gone towards toys. First the treo (which I still need to ship back, what a pile of junk) and next my blackberry. What now you ask? Aaaah the Elgato Eyetv Hybrid

I am very excited because I originally bought something similar to this that was made by Pinnacle and the damn thing isn’t mac compatible. I really wish I hadn’t lost the box and things, considering it is brand new I probably could have resold it for more than what I paid for it ($40 on Woot!).

Well, we will see what I can manage to do with it. Anyone interested? I’m going to look for the packaging when I get home, and maybe stick that sucker up on ebay!

I seem to be coming down with a cold and I’m really not happy about it, I don’t want to feel like crap all weekend. Some of my friends will be in town, and I’m really hoping (praying) that there won’t be any drama involved. However, this is doubtful.

There’s a cool caption your childhood photo contest going on over at ScribbleScratch. This is my entry… I believe I am about 8 in this photo and it makes me laugh to this day. I am a little hellian at heart! *cracks up* Look at little Les in the background.

Believe it or not the caption actually has relevance because when Les and I were little, we listened the hell out of some Vanilla Ice. I partly blame him for our strange ways, but at any rate, “Word to your mother” came out of our mouths quite a few times, and Les probably got her ass busted for it.

1. There are at least ten Starbucks Frappuccino bottles rolling around in the floor of my car. Every time I hear them clash together it reminds me of my terrible addiction.
2. Paul thinks he saw Lola Bean eating poop this morning. I’m so distraught.
3. The thing I look forward to doing most this weekend is sleep. Party hardy!
